Children: Guilt-Free Parenting

Last night my daughter refused to sleep. She screamed and cried and yelled and complained she needed "Water," "Gilk," and "Crackers." She also screamed that she had "Boogies" in her nose. After about 1.5 of rocking, holding, standing firm, mollifying, etc. I had had it. I was tired and frustrated and my husband was still at work.

At 10:30 p.m. I got my daughter up and let her run around. She was crazy! But happy. I was tired, but not angry.

Sometimes a little compromise is the best thing for sanity. When my husband got home at midnight, he got to put her to sleep. :-)
